The UCC Telecom Tariff Dashboard is a web-based platform that allows the Uganda Communications Commission to monitor, review, and track tariff submissions from licensed Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) across the country in near real time.
All ISPs and MNOs licensed by UCC are required to submit their voice, data, and SMS tariff filings through the dashboard ahead of implementation, in line with UCC's regulatory filing requirements.
Operators are required to submit tariff filings each review cycle, or whenever they intend to introduce a new tariff or amend an existing one. The dashboard tracks submission deadlines and flags late or missing filings automatically.
Flagged filings are routed to UCC compliance officers for review. Depending on the severity of the deviation, an operator may be required to provide clarification, revise the submission, or in serious cases, face regulatory follow-up.
Each tariff filing is assigned a status — Compliant, Minor Deviation, Review Required, Non-Compliant, or Critical Violation — based on submission timeliness, format accuracy, and how much the proposed pricing deviates from approved benchmarks.
